A sole operator working out of a van, spraying uPVC, kitchens and commercial units. Five services, five pages, and a different layout on each so it never reads as one template repeated.

Thirty photographs of real jobs, seven of them paired into drag-to-compare sliders. Built to be read one-handed, on a phone, by someone standing on a driveway.

A skincare brand that had to earn belief before it could sell a jar. Four cited statistics sit above the products, and the founder’s own story does the work a product page can’t.

    Twenty minutes on the phone. What the site has to make happen, what you’ve already got, and what you’d want it to say.

    Gather

    Photos, van livery, signage, business cards — anything with the name on it. That’s where the facts are, and where the mistakes get caught.

    Build

    You see it on your own phone before anyone else does. Changes at this stage are expected, not charged for.

    Hand over

    Live on your domain, files in your hands, and a walk through anything you’ll want to change yourself.

That buys a finished site for a sole trader: the pages you need, your photos sorted out, a working enquiry form, and it live on your own domain.

More pages, photography, or a shop puts it up. Whatever the figure is, you get it in writing before any work starts and it doesn’t move afterwards.

Who you’re dealing with.

I’m Toby. I run PieceWork out of Halifax, and I do the whole thing myself — the design, the words, the code and putting it live. There’s no account manager and no team you never meet.

It means you can ring the person who built it, and it means I can only take on so many at once. If I can’t do yours properly I’ll say so rather than take the work.
